The principal of Emotional Freedom Technique is the use of fingertips to tap on specific points on the face and body – those also targeted by acupuncturists and practitioners of acupressure – to promote relaxation and clear stress.

By physically changing the body’s energy from high stress to a relaxed state, it leaves us open to positive sentiments. By using affirmative statements alongside the tapping, then, we can discard negativity and embrace constructive change.
